Comprehensive Endocrine Surgery Fellowship
The American Association of Endocrine Surgeons is sponsoring the 2024 match for a comprehensive clinical fellowship in Endocrine Surgery starting August 1, 2025.
Endocrine Surgery Fellowship training requires adequate previous training in general surgery. Therefore, fellowships will follow the completion of an accredited general surgery residency program in the United States or equivalent general surgery training outside the United States. The candidate must be board-certified or board-eligible by the ABS or by the equivalent certification board if training is completed outside of the United States or Canada.
2024 Match Timeline
- Wednesday, February 14, 2024: Online application site opens.
- Friday, April 19, 2024: Online application site closes.
- Monday, July 08, 2024: Online ranking site opens for Applicants and Programs at 9:00 AM CDT.
- Monday, July 15, 2024: Ranks due by 11:59 PM PDT.
- Thursday, July 25, 2024: Any unmatched programs will be notified by 5:00 PM CDT. They will be provided with a list of unmatched candidates and their CVs. (Unmatched programs are NOT to reach out to applicants until Monday at Noon CDT).
- Sunday, July 28, 2024: Unmatched programs who want to participate in a secondary match must notify the Fellowship Chair or Designee before Noon CDT.
- Monday, July 29, 2024: If unmatched programs wish to participate in a secondary match, any unmatched candidates will be notified via email at 9:00 AM CDT. If unmatched programs chose to participate in a secondary match the programs and candidates will be allowed to contact each other to fill any available fellowship position at Noon CDT. If there is no secondary match, all match results will be announced on Friday, August 9, 2024.

- Thursday, August 1, 2024: Secondary match site closes at Noon CDT.
- Friday, August 9, 2024: Match results announced.
